It is the legally registered and recognized association for all those who went through chania high school since its start in 1958.
The association was registered with the registrar of societies on 27th April 2023 after many attempts and deliberations made before were not successful.
CHS Alumni main objective is to create a platform where former students can connect with their school and take part in its Governance and development agenda and mentorship. The Alumni association will also create an avenue where former students can Network, Partner and collaborate for career, personal growth and development.
Members will among others enjoy the benefits that come with personal growth and development from linkages, and careers through the power of alumni association. They will also enjoy the benefits of discounted cutting edge trainings and exposures, opportunities to enjoy membership to different clubs at discounted rates, opportunities to attend Alumni events including gala dinners, breakfast, annual events and council meetings. CHS Alumni members will also get an opportunity to serve in different bodies of the association, represent the association in different forums locally, regionally and internationally. No, you have to be a registered member and paid your annual subscription fee.
Anyone who went through Secondary school education in Chania High School since its inception in 1958.
The association is Governed at two levels, the governing council that include all members of the association and the Executive Board, consisting of elected and appointed members that take the running of the association between the sessions of the General council.
The Alumni has a coordinating office at Chania High School, Thika here all matters are coordinated from.
